2. You will need a masonry drill and an adjustable spanner or a spanner that is the correct size for the bolt.
1. Anchor bolts provide a strong fixing in concrete, brick, render and are suitable for holding spigots, window grilles and arches in place.
3. Position the item and mark where you would like the centre of each hole.
4. Look on the end of the anchor bolt for the diameter of the thread. Use a drill size 2 mm less than this. (So if it says 10mm, use an 8 mm thread).
5. Drill a hole long enough to take the anchor bolt.
6. Put the item in position, insert anchor bolt and ‘screw’ in with the adjustable spanner. Put all bolts in place and then tighten fully.
For the best finish tighten each Bolt with the visual aid of a spirit level to ensure a good result.
