Mr Twyman contacted us to design, fabricate and install a variety of railings, gates and handrails.
He required above-the-wall railings and a gate for the property boundary and asked for these to have a decorative design with heart-shaped detailing along the top to match the railings of adjacent properties. We suggested a double-gate to best suit the gap size of the entrance and fabricated this with a matching set of railings.
Mr Twyman also needed railings to secure a drop to a basement level and handrails to match these on the steps into the property and down to the sub-level. For these we used a more simple, practical design that was better suited for ease of use and safety. This also means that the heart-detailing on the front railings and gate stand out when looking at the property. We also kept the spacing of the uprights the same between the two designs to provide a sense of continuity between them.
